Read our switch & wiring guideWhat happens if my internet or Wi-Fi goes down?
Cloud access, remote control and voice services may be unavailable. Whether local app control, scenes, a physical switch or a handheld remote still works depends on the exact devices, gateway, power supply and type of outage. Tell your consultant which controls you want to keep available; we will check your chosen setup.
Can I start with smart switches and keep my existing lights?
Yes, compatible ordinary lights can be switched on and off through a suitable smart switch. Check the wiring, load and hub requirements first. A standard on/off smart switch does not add dimming or colour control to an ordinary light.
What does a smart light add?
Depending on the model, a smart light can add brightness, colour-temperature or colour control. Choose a model that explicitly supports the effects you want. HaloPro Duo connects through a Zigbee hub and lists tri-colour lighting.
What does a smart fan add?
A compatible smart fan adds app control of speed and timers. Features vary: MOWE MW488F / MW548F also lists adjustable light brightness and colour temperature, sleep mode and six speed levels.
Do I need a hub or neutral wire?
It depends on your products and wiring. Mausklick switches and HaloPro Duo lights require a Zigbee hub. Ask us to confirm the neutral-wire requirement for your exact switch; your electrician must verify the wiring at home.
Will everything work in one app or scene?
Only compatible devices and supported integrations can work together. We will check the exact models, gateway and platform before recommending a combined setup. Keep app-controlled lights powered if you want their smart functions to remain available.
Can I upgrade an existing HDB flat or condo gradually?
You can plan one room or a few circuits first, then expand with compatible products. Existing wiring, switch boxes and device compatibility determine the installation work needed. Send your floor plan and current setup for advice.

What we offer for a smart home
Lighting Hub has served Singapore since 2009. We sell smart switches, smart lighting, smart fans, control panels and smart home packages. You can start with one room and expand later with compatible products.
- Smart switches: Zigbee switches and scene switches, including the Avantgarde Series and Mausklick Series.
- Smart lighting: smart surface spotlights such as the HaloPro Duo, smart magnetic track lighting and SUNSHINE Wi-Fi smart bulbs.
- Smart fans: MOWE smart ceiling fans with app control of speed and timers.
- Control panels and sensors: Zigbee touch panels, gateways and presence sensors.
- Smart home packages: Smart Home System Packages and Smart Kitchen Packages.
A Zigbee hub is a separate unit that links Zigbee devices to your home network and phone app. Mausklick switches and HaloPro Duo lights need one, so ask us which gateway suits the devices you choose; the SUNSHINE Smart LED Bulb (10W, E27, Wi-Fi) needs no hub. - We recommend a setup. We check the exact models, gateway and hub requirements, then suggest switches, lights and fans that work together in your HDB flat or condo.
- See it, then order or install. Book a demo at our experience centre in New World Centre, or order online. We arrange installation of lights and ceiling fans through our installation service, and Smart Home System Packages include professional installation and an in-person app tutorial. For smart switches, ask about installation when you send your plan.

Do you install the smart switches and lights you sell?
We arrange installation of lights and ceiling fans, carried out by professional installers, and Smart Home System Packages include professional installation and an in-person app tutorial. For smart switches and other smart devices, send us your floor plan on WhatsApp +65 8818 9388 and we will advise on installation.
Can I use the Climate Voucher on a smart fan?
A smart fan can qualify if it runs on a DC motor; DC fans with a non-LED light kit are excluded. Check the product page for DC, then ask us on WhatsApp +65 8818 9388 to confirm the model. At Lighting Hub, Climate Vouchers are scanned in person at the till at New World Centre (Jalan Berseh).
